Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain visible and discreet security presence across the Bicester Village site, deterring theft and antisocial behaviour while preserving a welcoming environment for guests.
- Conduct regular foot patrols, perimeter checks and mobile surveillance to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Monitor and operate CCTV and access-control systems; ensure footage and records are preserved in line with policy.
- Respond promptly to incidents, including suspected theft, medical emergencies and fire alarms; provide first response and escalate to emergency services when required.
- Carry out loss-prevention activities in collaboration with boutique managers and retail partners; assist with evidence gathering and witness statements.
- Complete timely and accurate incident, shift and cash-escort reports using established reporting protocols.
- Manage crowd and queue control during peak periods and special events while maintaining high standards of guest service.
- Liaise with police, emergency services and internal stakeholders to resolve incidents and support prosecutions if necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid UK SIA Licence for Door Supervision or Security Guarding (as required for role).
- Right to work in the UK; ability to pass necessary background checks.
- Proven reliability with a track record of punctuality and professional conduct.
- Basic first-aid qualification or willingness to obtain.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to interact courteously with international guests.
