Burberry seeks a Sales Associate at Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon, CA — full-time role driving luxury retail sales and client development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver the Burberry Experience in every customer interaction, consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and KPIs.
- Actively develop and maintain a detailed client book, executing clienteling activities such as follow-up emails, reactivation and personalised invitations.
- Provide consultative selling and elevated customer service to cultivate long‑term client loyalty.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute monthly floorsets, replenishment and on-floor presentation according to Burberry guidelines.
- Maintain proactive floor presence: begin and end shifts with the selling floor ready for customers and ensure fitting rooms and displays are kept tidy.
- Support back-of-house operations including markdowns, bi-annual inventory, stockroom organisation and accurate stock put-aways.
- Participate in promotional events, pre-sales and store contests to drive business objectives and capture compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably within luxury retail.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs (UPT, ATV, client development).
- Strong clienteling background and experience managing a client book.
- Advanced knowledge of POS and store systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Team-oriented, results-driven, flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Demonstrated interest in fashion or design and high standards of personal presentation.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of direct retail sales experience, ideally within a luxury or premium fashion environment, with demonstrable success in driving sales and developing client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail- or fashion-related vocational training preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Cabazon, California, USA, with easy access to Los Angeles.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18 to USD 19 per hour.
