Burberry seeks a Retail Floor Supervisor in Orlando, Florida to lead sales teams, drive customer excellence, and achieve KPIs in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate sales associates to deliver consistently high-value customer experiences on the selling floor, ensuring every interaction is memorable and aligned with brand standards
- Partner with associates to refine selling skills and close sales techniques to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators
- Lead a customer-facing, service-oriented team with active coaching and feedback to ensure the full Burberry Experience is delivered in accordance with brand strategies
- Manage customer flow to provide optimal service, ensuring no client remains unattended and maintaining consistent standards of excellence
- Drive collaboration between sales associates, specialists, stock team, and operations personnel
- Conduct in-the-moment and post-transaction coaching for all team members, discussing successes and opportunities with structured follow-through
- Develop and retain talent through recognition, reward mechanisms, monthly development plans, and annual performance reviews
- Model the Burberry Experience by personally engaging with customers as needed
- Partner with General Manager, Store Manager, and Sales & Planning to oversee training programmes within the store; facilitate morning and weekly meetings reinforcing Burberry Experience principles through role-play and peer discussion
- Deliver formal performance feedback through monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans in coordination with store management
- Resolve complex customer issues and escalate to management when appropriate
- Authorize transactions, promotional discounts, and employee sales in the absence of store management
- Promote the in-store digital experience and leverage digital communication tools to supplement face-to-face interactions
- Demonstrate understanding of business objectives and communicate insights to drive commercial performance
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company policies and consistently enforce operational guidelines
- Participate in store opening and closing procedures, including security protocols, merchandise safeguarding, alarm systems, and point-of-sale operations
- Execute additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Demonstrated experience with Apple mobile devices and digital tools
- 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales
