Burberry Proto & Sample Procurement Assistant position in Florence. Support sourcing and procurement of prototype and sample materials for design and production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Source and procure prototype and sample materials from approved vendors in line with design specifications
- Maintain records of procurement orders, timelines, and vendor communications
- Coordinate with internal design and production teams to clarify material requirements and expedite deliveries
- Support the scheduling of proto and sample production runs
- Monitor inventory levels of commonly used materials and coordinate replenishment orders
- Prepare procurement documentation, quotations, and purchase orders
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in procurement or materials sourcing within a fashion, luxury, or manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software and procurement systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in procurement, materials sourcing, or a related supply chain role, preferably within the fashion or luxury goods sector.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; additional qualification in supply chain management or materials procurement is advantageous.
