Burberry seeks a Product Development Assistant in London to support collection development, manage documentation and coordinate with suppliers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product information systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout collection development
- Partner with Product Developers, manufacturers and suppliers to support timely delivery of prototypes, samples and production milestones
- Manage collection documentation, product information and development records to ensure clear visibility across teams
- Track development budgets and monitor prototype, trial and sample costs throughout the season
- Coordinate sample, swatch and archive management, maintaining organised and accessible product libraries
- Support fittings, meetings, shipments and day-to-day development activities to help the team deliver collections efficiently
Qualifications
- Experience supporting product development, merchandising or a related product function within fashion or luxury
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of information accurately
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Clear and effective communication skills, with confidence working across cross-functional teams and external partners
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of product cost management and budget tracking
- Passion for product, craftsmanship and fashion, alongside a proactive and solutions-focused approach to work
