Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with Design as a technical collaborator during fittings, guiding feasibility and ensuring creative vision translates accurately into knitwear silhouettes
- Lead end-to-end development of knitwear styles, delivering samples and prototypes on time, to specification, and within cost targets
- Own and manage the critical path from concept through pre-production, identifying risks proactively and driving solutions to maintain delivery schedules
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with vendors across Europe and Asia, aligning technical capability, cost, and quality standards while protecting design intent
- Maintain accurate, timely PLM data and communicate changes clearly across functions to prevent disruption to production workflows
- Support and mentor Product Development Assistants, fostering knowledge-sharing and continuous learning within the product development team
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in knitwear product development, including deep understanding of construction techniques, material performance, and fit principles
- Proven experience managing complex critical paths and vendor relationships across international supply bases
- Demonstrated ability to balance creativity, commercial viability, and cost considerations throughout the development process
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across functions and cultures
- Exceptional organizational ability, adaptability, and problem-solving orientation
