Leading luxury maison — Paris: Procurement Purchase Order Analyst (Part-time, 12-month FTC). Manage POs, supplier liaison and purchase-to-pay operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process, create and maintain purchase orders across the ERP system ensuring accuracy of SKU, pricing, delivery and payment terms.
  • Manage PO lifecycle: amendments, cancellations, rematching, and PO close-out in line with procurement policies.
  • Act as primary operational contact for suppliers on PO statuses, delivery confirmations, discrepancies and escalation of exceptions.
  • Support the purchase-to-pay cycle by reconciling supplier invoices against POs and goods receipts; liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve variances.
  • Monitor supplier lead times, open-order backlog and delivery performance; prepare regular status reports for procurement stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity in procurement systems and contribute to periodic system clean-up and master-data updates.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, planning and finance teams to support month-end processes, inventory controls and cost-avoidance initiatives.
  • Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements; support audits and continuous-improvement projects within procurement operations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience handling purchase orders and transactional procurement activities in an ERP environment.
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to manage high volumes of transactions with accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing requests under tight deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator with aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and supplier engagement.
  • Ability to work independently within a controlled, process-driven environment and to document procedures clearly.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
