Role & Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a Reporting Centre of Excellence for uniform in‑season and market reporting across categories, regions and seasons.
  • Own data integrity for merchandise reporting and partner with IT to evolve data structures and Burberry’s data visualisation strategy.
  • Develop and maintain offline in‑season and market reports that translate complex analysis into clear commercial narratives aligned to key business strategies.
  • Map and manage the reporting calendar to ensure insights are available at key commercial moments throughout the year.
  • Manage the Global Open to Buy (OTB) framework: provide tools, templates and historical data; set parameters, critical path and inputs for regional planning teams; consolidate regional OTBs into a global view.
  • Lead, coach and direct direct reports, communicating strategic objectives and providing day‑to‑day guidance, decisions and problem solving.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in retail performance reporting and in establishing standardised business reporting frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of retail reporting and planning systems and associated data structures.
  • Demonstrable experience managing a merchandise or planning team in a fast‑paced commercial luxury retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with credibility across senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability, exceptional attention to detail and sound commercial decision‑making.
