Burberry Paid Social Media Manager in London – lead end-to-end paid social strategy, drive luxury brand equity and omnichannel revenue growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Direct full-funnel social activation strategy across all platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit) and localised channels (Red in China, LINE in Japan, Kakao in South Korea), ensuring seamless customer journey from awareness to conversion
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a Paid Social Media Specialist team member, fostering high-performing culture and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with regional teams to execute nuanced social media strategies, particularly for APAC markets
  • Support global business strategy by tailoring paid social activations for Upper, Middle, and Lower funnel audience segments to ensure balanced pipeline of brand discovery and high-intent conversion
  • Drive operational efficiencies through automation and AI-driven practices embedded in campaign workflows
  • Implement and enforce global taxonomy governance for all social campaigns to ensure data consistency and unified reporting for Media Mix Modelling
  • Manage external agency partners day-to-day, ensuring delivery against KPIs, brand guideline adherence, and high execution standards
  • Cultivate and maintain direct relationships with major social platforms to ensure brand is at forefront of alpha/beta testing and product roadmaps
  • Collaborate with Senior Media Operations Manager and Omnichannel Planning teams to build strategic media deals with social platforms, securing exclusive placements
  • Lead social asset management lifecycle, working with Media Planning and Creative teams to ensure platform-specific technical optimisation
  • Identify amplification opportunities across PR and Organic Social to ensure paid spend drives digital traffic and physical store footfall

Qualifications

  • 4 years social media experience at brand or media agency (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of paid social and digital media landscape
  • Strong understanding of digital measurement, attribution, and analytics
  • Experience managing large-scale budgets
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
