Burberry seeks Temporary Outlet Allocator in New York. Five-month contract role optimizing inventory allocation and planning for outlet channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis and reporting of outlet business at channel, region, and category levels to provide consolidated view of regional performance
- Partner and collaborate with merchandising, operations, visual merchandising, regional finance, and central planning teams on outlet strategy and product focus
- Evaluate and analyze business at store, style, and size level to create appropriate distribution strategies and optimize inventory levels
- Utilize A&R and SAP systems to manage made-for-outlet product replenishment and execute manual pushes when required
- Optimize allocations by door based on customer profile and inventory strategies, including management of aging inventory profiles
- Communicate with field teams and stores on business trends and opportunities to drive future performance
- Support special orders, review stock offers, enter data in SAP, and track fulfillment
- Assist with merchandising responsibilities including buy book development and consolidation execution
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of allocation or inventory planning experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong understanding of retail mathematics
- Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formula applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience presenting reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders
- SAP knowledge preferred

1–2 years of allocation experience in a retail or merchandising environment, preferably within luxury or multi-brand wholesale contexts.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
