Burberry Operations Supervisor position in New York, managing retail back-of-house operations, inventory, and stockroom coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving and processing stock orders from warehouse hubs, verifying product accuracy, and reporting discrepancies
- Support the sales team with timely stock retrieval for in-store and omnichannel orders, including stock pullback operations
- Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness in compliance with Burberry Retail Operations and Standards
- Conduct quality control inspections on all products and report any issues to store management
- Support after-sales services including alterations, repairs, and personalisation to enhance client experience
- Ensure all stockroom equipment remains operational and functional, escalating maintenance concerns through appropriate channels
- Perform administrative duties including telephone management, customer service liaison, ordering supplies and stationery, and general office tasks
- Execute ad hoc requests from store management including event support, visual merchandising assistance, stock-taking, and other operational duties as required
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in core Microsoft Office software
- Experience with SAP systems (desirable)
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
Skills
Experience
Experience in retail operations, inventory management, or warehouse operations is expected. Familiarity with luxury retail standards and omnichannel fulfillment processes is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
