Burberry Operations Associate position in San Marcos, Texas. Support store back-office operations, inventory management, and customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including receiving and processing stock orders from hubs or warehouses, verifying product accuracy, and reporting discrepancies
- Support the sales team by retrieving inventory in a timely manner, including omnichannel fulfillment and stock transfers
- Maintain back-of-house organization in compliance with Burberry retail operations and standards
- Perform quality control inspections on all products and escalate any issues to store management
- Support after-sales processes including alterations, repairs, and personalization services to elevate customer experience
- Ensure all stockroom equipment remains operational and functional; report maintenance concerns via appropriate channels
- Execute administrative tasks including telephone support, customer service liaison, ordering supplies, and general clerical duties
- Assist store management with events, visual merchandising, stocktaking, and other ad hoc operational requests
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with SAP system (desirable)
- Strong teamwork capability
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
Skills
Experience
Previous retail operations or warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with omnichannel retail environments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or logistics certifications are a plus.
