The Burberry Operations Associate supports back-of-house store operations, overseeing inventory, stock retrieval, product quality, after-sales processes and administrative tasks, while assisting with events and visual merchandising as needed. The expected base salary is $18.00–$19.00 per hour at commencement; the hiring rate is determined individually, and total compensation may include commission, discretionary bonuses, incentive packages and company-sponsored benefits. This is an at-will position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control, including receiving and handling stock orders from hubs or warehouses, verifying product accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
- Retrieve stock promptly to support the sales team, including for omnichannel orders and stock pullbacks.
- Maintain a tidy back of house in compliance with Retail Operations and Standards.
- Conduct ongoing quality control of all products and report issues to the store lead.
- Support after-sales processes, including alterations, repairs and personalisation, to elevate the client experience.
- Ensure stockroom equipment is operational and promptly raise concerns through Ask services.
- Handle ad hoc administration, including answering telephone calls, liaising with customer service, ordering stationery and supermarket supplies, and completing general administrative tasks.
- Respond to store management’s ad hoc requests to support events, visual merchandising, stocktaking and other duties.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in core Microsoft software.
- Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
- Ability to work well in a team and in a busy team environment.
