The Operations Associate supports Burberry’s store back-of-house operations, overseeing inventory control, stock retrieval, product quality, aftersales support and administrative tasks. The role also supports store events and visual merchandising; expected base salary is $20.00–$22.00 per hour at the commencement of employment, with the final amount determined individually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control, including receiving and handling stock orders from the hub or warehouse, verifying the accuracy of received products, and reporting discrepancies.
- Support the sales team by retrieving stock promptly, including for omnichannel orders and stock pullbacks.
- Maintain a tidy back-of-house area in compliance with Retail Operations and Standards.
- Conduct quality control checks on all products and report issues to the store lead.
- Support aftersales services, including alterations, repairs, and personalisation, to enhance the client experience.
- Ensure stockroom equipment is operational and raise concerns immediately through Ask services.
- Handle ad hoc administration, including answering telephone calls, liaising with customer service, placing stationery and supermarket orders, and completing general administrative tasks.
- Support store management with ad hoc requests for events, visual merchandising, stocktaking, and other duties.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in core Microsoft software.
- Previous SAP experience is desirable.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work in a busy team environment.
