Burberry is hiring an Operations Associate to support back-of-house operations, inventory control, stock retrieval, product quality checks and after-sales processes, alongside store administration and ad hoc event and visual merchandising support. The role is at-will, with an expected base salary of $19.00–$20.00 per hour at commencement; total compensation may also include commission, discretionary bonuses, incentive packages and company-sponsored benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the store’s back-of-house operations efficiently and effectively.
- Manage inventory control, including receiving and handling stock orders from the hub or warehouse, verifying product accuracy, and reporting discrepancies.
- Retrieve stock promptly to support the sales team, including omnichannel orders and stock pullbacks.
- Keep the back of house tidy and compliant with Retail Operations and Standards.
- Conduct ongoing product quality checks and report issues to the store lead.
- Support after-sales processes, including alterations, repairs and personalisation, to enhance the client experience.
- Ensure stockroom equipment is operational and raise concerns immediately through Ask services.
- Handle ad hoc administration, including answering calls, liaising with Customer Service, placing stationery and supermarket orders, and completing general administrative tasks.
- Respond to store management requests to support events, visual merchandising, stocktaking and other duties.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in core Microsoft software.
- Previous SAP experience is desirable.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work in a busy team environment.
