Burberry Operations Assistant, Part-Time - Florence. Support retail back-of-house inventory management and stock operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving and handling stock orders from hub or warehouse, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies
- Support the sales team with timely stock retrieval for both in-store and omnichannel fulfillment, including stock pullback operations
- Maintain back-of-house organization in compliance with Burberry's Retail Operations and Standards
- Conduct quality control inspections on all products and report any issues to store leadership
- Support after-sales services including alterations, repairs, and personalization to enhance the client experience
- Ensure stockroom equipment remains operational and fully functional, reporting concerns through internal service channels immediately
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks including telephone management, customer service liaison, supply ordering, and general clerical duties
- Execute store management requests for events, visual merchandising, stock-taking, and other operational duties as required
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Intermediate proficiency with core Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Capacity to perform in a busy, fast-paced retail setting
