Network Security Architect at a leading luxury group in Paris, France — design and secure enterprise network and cloud infrastructure.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deliver enterprise network security architecture aligned with business requirements, compliance and risk appetite.
- Design and deploy perimeter, datacenter and cloud network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, secure web gateways and segmentation.
- Lead security design for hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrate network controls into cloud-native architectures.
- Develop and maintain network security standards, reference architectures, technical policies and secure configuration baselines.
- Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, application and operations teams to embed security into network change and deployment lifecycles.
- Evaluate, select and manage security vendors and appliances; lead proof-of-concepts and pilot deployments.
- Drive threat modelling, vulnerability assessment remediation plans and network security incident response containment strategies.
- Automate security infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC/automation tools; mentor engineering teams on secure network engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of designing and operating enterprise network security for global organisations, including cloud migration projects.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and data protection considerations relevant to luxury retail and global operations.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in network and security engineering with at least 3 years designing enterprise network security architectures for multi-site, multi-cloud environments. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical projects and incident response at enterprise scale.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
