Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver enterprise network security architecture aligned with business requirements, compliance and risk appetite.
  • Design and deploy perimeter, datacenter and cloud network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, secure web gateways and segmentation.
  • Lead security design for hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrate network controls into cloud-native architectures.
  • Develop and maintain network security standards, reference architectures, technical policies and secure configuration baselines.
  • Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, application and operations teams to embed security into network change and deployment lifecycles.
  • Evaluate, select and manage security vendors and appliances; lead proof-of-concepts and pilot deployments.
  • Drive threat modelling, vulnerability assessment remediation plans and network security incident response containment strategies.
  • Automate security infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC/automation tools; mentor engineering teams on secure network engineering practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of designing and operating enterprise network security for global organisations, including cloud migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and data protection considerations relevant to luxury retail and global operations.
