Burberry seeks a Merchandising Manager in Singapore to lead product range strategy, manage teams, and deliver business objectives across assigned categories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and drive the critical path for assigned business areas to deliver product range development and implementation of global brand buy strategy
- Partner effectively with cross-functional teams (Design, Product Development, Planning, Global Sourcing, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Digital) to influence strategic decisions and maintain brand positioning
- Lead, inspire, motivate, coach and develop merchandising team members
- Develop and present comprehensive range plans including pricing, cost of ownership, and competitive strategy with support from merchandising staff; validate with Director of Merchandising
- Present brand buy recommendations to regional teams for market opening
- Collaborate with Service and Productivity teams to develop product knowledge training for assigned categories
- Build effective working relationships with regional merchandising teams to gather product feedback and market research
- Analyze weekly and monthly sales reports and propose appropriate corrective actions
- Own retail pricing positioning aligned with margin targets and competitive landscape
- Monitor and develop range plans in accordance with development targets
- Manage commercial samples ordering process and associated budget

- Strong merchandising experience with demonstrated retail expertise
- Passion for product and fashion trends
- High commercial instinct and strategic thinking
- Strong analytical and retail mathematics capabilities
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Proven ability to partner across functions and influence stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Extensive experience in merchandising roles within luxury fashion retail, with demonstrated success in range management, category strategy, and team leadership.
Education
Tertiary education in fashion, retail management, business, or related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Singapore, Central, Singapore.
