Burberry seeks a Media Partnerships Manager in London to lead global partnerships strategy, negotiation, and delivery across luxury media channels.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and own the annual global partnerships agenda, mapping opportunities against the marketing calendar, hero campaign moments, and strategic priorities
  • Identify, develop, and qualify bespoke partnership opportunities across publishers, out-of-home, digital platforms, and experiential formats
  • Lead commercial negotiations and annual planning with media partners, developing Joint Business Plans that set mutual commitments and added-value targets
  • Manage the global media partnerships budget: allocation across deals and markets, monthly actuals, reconciliation, and reforecasting
  • Deliver end-to-end project management of partnership activations, including workback schedules, milestone tracking, status reporting, and quality assurance
  • Line manage the Media Partnerships Assistant, directing activation logistics and deliverables tracking
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with media partners, driving long-term success and innovation
  • Coordinate partnership delivery across internal functions, serving as the single connecting point between partners and the business
  • Provide full-funnel media planning support and flexible regional coverage during peak periods or absence, translating global briefs into localized plans
  • Assess all partnership investments against media value, rate benchmarks, and open-market equivalents to ensure efficiency and measurable returns
  • Co-create post-campaign evaluations with the Insights team, quantifying media value delivered and informing future negotiations
  • Oversee agency relationships and scope of work with the global media agency (OMD), ensuring quality output and accountability

Qualifications

  • Extensive media planning, buying, and partnerships experience at brand or media agency level
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading commercial negotiations with media owners and developing Joint Business Plans
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder partnership projects end-to-end, on time and to high standards
  • Strong agency management experience and proven ability to build strategic partner relationships
  • Team leadership experience with a track record of developing junior talent
  • Experience managing full-funnel media campaigns across multiple global markets (EMEIA, Americas, Greater China, APAC)
  • Firm grasp of media investment principles, rate benchmarking, and efficiency measurement
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
