Burberry seeks a Media Insights Manager in London to lead media measurement strategy, MMM, attribution and experimentation programmes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end media measurement framework spanning strategic, tactical and operational layers, ensuring consistency in methodology across all media decisions
  • Define the brand and commercial KPI hierarchy to ensure every media channel and campaign is measured against appropriate metrics
  • Lead the relationship with Burberry's in-house MMM team, overseeing brief development, model inputs, validation and executive readout
  • Translate MMM outputs and in-channel measurement data into clear investment recommendations for Media and Finance stakeholders
  • Build and report on actionable media insights measuring long-term brand equity and short-term omnichannel revenue performance
  • Set attribution methodology across digital media channels and establish rules for reconciling attribution with MMM outputs
  • Oversee the experimentation programme, including geo tests, incrementality studies, and brand lift research, maintaining statistical rigour in test design
  • Lead media audience and customer journey insights that inform Media Planning briefs and channel strategy development
  • Set requirements for tagging, conversion tracking, server-side measurement, dashboards and data warehouse provisioning in partnership with Media Operations and IT
  • Own media measurement governance, data quality standards and methodology documentation to ensure consistent single source of truth
  • Provide regional and channel-level performance benchmarking that drives Media Plan calibration throughout the fiscal year
  • Direct line management of the Media Insights Analyst and mentor analytics capability across the wider Media team
  • Represent media measurement in senior stakeholder forums and translate complex technical outputs into clear executive narratives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in marketing measurement, media analytics, marketing science or media effectiveness at a brand, agency, consultancy or platform
  • Hands-on SQL and Python proficiency with demonstrated comfort working directly with data platforms and data warehouses
  • Hands-on experience with marketing mix modelling as either a builder or sophisticated consumer, with ability to interrogate inputs and calibrate against in-market reality
  • Strong grounding in digital attribution methodology and understanding of its limitations
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing marketing experiments including geo tests, incrementality studies, conversion lift and brand lift research with statistical rigour
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with proven ability to translate complex measurement concepts into clear executive narratives
  • Experience managing and developing analytics talent
  • Experience activating measurement across multiple international markets (EMEA, US, APAC) preferred
