Burberry is seeking a Lead Network Security Architect in Leeds, GB. This role involves defining and communicating the technology strategy for network security across the global enterprise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and communicate the Network Security technology strategy and vision.
- Define and maintain 3-5 year roadmaps for Network Security aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain secure network architecture frameworks in line with business and security requirements.
- Design and oversee the implementation of security controls across LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network security.
- Define and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and business stakeholders to align security architecture with enterprise goals.
- Lead risk assessments and threat modeling exercises for network infrastructure.
- Oversee deployment of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security tools.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers.
- Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in network security, with at least 3 years in an architecture role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Expertise in security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, IDS/IPS, NAC, and SIEM.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and securing cloud networks.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and SASE frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CCIE Security, AWS/Azure Security.

Experience
A minimum of 5 years in network security, with at least 3 years in an architectural capacity.
