Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the industrialization process of outerwear products from prototyping to bulk production.
- Provide technical support to Product Development and Product Engineering teams.
- Manage raw materials from development to industrialization, ensuring product feasibility and quality.
- Drive innovation and quality improvements in collaboration with suppliers.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with industry experts, academia, and trade associations.
- Stay informed on government regulations, safety protocols, and performance standards.
- Lead strategic technical development of raw materials through value engineering.
- Conduct material construction analysis and provide detailed directions for technical development.
- Hold suppliers accountable to performance standards and identify training opportunities.
- Lead special projects and provide training and guidance to peers and partners.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while preserving brand aesthetic and design integrity.
- Strong technical knowledge of outerwear construction and technical materials.
- Expertise in managing supplier relationships and understanding manufacturing processes.
- Skilled in cost engineering and balancing creative direction with commercial targets.
