Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for Retail Operations across all stores in Japan.
- Collaborate with Retail Head and Store Managers to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Lead workforce planning, attrition analysis, and headcount budgeting.
- Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions and grievances.
- Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws and Burberry's global policies.
- Lead recruitment efforts for all store positions, including sourcing and selection.
- Enhance candidate experience and employer branding for store roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–7 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience in luxury, fashion, or retail.
- Proven expertise in strategic HR business partnering and recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese labor law.

Experience
A minimum of 5–7 years in HR generalist or HRBP roles, ideally within luxury, fashion, premium retail, or hospitality sectors.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
