Burberry Group Tax Manager in London — lead global tax compliance and reporting for a luxury fashion conglomerate.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of global tax reporting, including year-end and interim processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee the global corporation tax compliance cycle, managing third-party providers and ensuring all filings are complete
  • Review and sign off overseas tax submissions while maintaining strong governance standards
  • Manage UK tax compliance, including oversight of returns, quarterly instalment calculations and cash flow forecasting support
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with HMRC, auditors and internal stakeholders across Finance, HR and Legal
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and standardise tax processes while embedding robust controls and supporting wider tax projects

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification such as ACA, CIMA or equivalent and/or CTA
  • Experience in tax reporting and compliance, either in-house or within a professional services environment
  • Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, OneStream, BPC or HFM
  • Demonstrated experience working across international markets with understanding of cross-border tax considerations
  • Clear communication skills with ability to translate complex tax matters for diverse audiences

Experience
