Leading luxury leather-goods maison in Paris seeks a Global Planner, Men's Leather Goods to lead forecasting, allocations and inventory planning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the global merchandise plan for men's leather goods across all channels, aligning assortment, pricing and inventory with commercial objectives and brand positioning.
- Generate accurate demand forecasts and translate them into seasonal buy plans, allocations and replenishment strategies to optimise sell-through and margin.
- Lead the monthly S&OP and pre-season planning cycles with commercial, design, production and supply-chain stakeholders to ensure on-time assortment delivery.
- Manage inventory life-cycle: buffer strategies, ageing, markdown planning and stock migrations between regions to minimise excess and shortages.
- Set and monitor KPIs (sell-through, sell-in, stock turn, GM%) and produce actionable reporting for regional directors and executive stakeholders.
- Coordinate global allocations and local flex to reflect market-specific demand patterns while maintaining global brand coherence.
- Perform assortment rationalisation and SKU-level profitability analysis to support buying decisions and improve portfolio productivity.
- Represent merchandise planning in cross-functional forums, presenting trade-offs and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in merchandise planning for leather goods, accessories or premium apparel with responsibility for global or multi-region assortments.
- Strong analytical and numerical capability with demonstrated experience building forecasts, models and financial plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a matrixed, international environment.
- Ability to translate commercial strategy into tactical buying and allocation decisions while protecting brand equity.
- Experience implementing and using planning tools and BI to drive decisions and reporting.

Experience
Typically 5+ years in merchandise or demand planning within luxury fashion or accessories, with demonstrated ownership of seasonal planning cycles, global allocations and inventory optimisation. Prior exposure to leather goods or luxury accessories strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, fashion merchandising, supply chain, economics or a related discipline; a master's degree or specialised merchandising qualification is advantageous.
