Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide visible leadership on the shop floor, exemplifying Burberry brand behaviours and acting as the primary brand ambassador for the store.
  • Own the employee experience: recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, succession planning and talent mobility.
  • Own the customer experience: drive customer satisfaction, long‑term relationships and brand loyalty through service excellence and team coaching.
  • Drive store commercial performance and productivity by identifying opportunities, optimising inventory sales and executing local sales initiatives.
  • Maintain operational excellence and compliance with corporate standards, policies and health & safety procedures, including emergency evacuation planning and recordkeeping on Rivo.
  • Ensure impeccable luxury standards and adherence to Visual Merchandising guidelines to preserve the store environment and brand presentation.
  • Leverage digital assets, e‑commerce channels and social media to enhance the in‑store customer journey and convert digital engagement into sales.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated retail management experience in a luxury brand or high-end service environment, with accountability for sales turnover, conversion and team leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop teams; experience in recruitment, talent development and succession planning appropriate to store size and complexity.
  • Excellent product knowledge and commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance and translate insight into action.
  • Digital literacy and comfort with social media and e‑commerce platforms; ability to integrate digital initiatives into in‑store experience.
  • Awareness of local employment and retail legislation and flexibility to work retail hours as required.
  • Local language proficiency plus fluent English.

Experience
