Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the ready-to-wear bulk fabric approval process, ensuring compliance with Burberry’s standards and precise evaluations of cutting references.
  • Safeguard fabric quality by verifying hand-feel, color consistency, and aesthetic alignment with approved references.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation and data accuracy across Flex PLM and internal reference libraries.
  • Manage non-conformities with agility, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to protect timelines and product integrity.
  • Oversee and support daily operations on the Codetex Connect platform, enabling seamless use for mills, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Guide Codetex inspection priorities and provide technical input during visual assessments to uphold Burberry’s quality expectations.
  • Analyze platform data to generate insights that support quality optimization and supply chain performance.
  • Build strong partnerships through training, collaboration, and on-site support with mills, vendors, and Codetex teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fabric quality, raw materials, or textile sourcing within the fashion industry.

Skills

Strong understanding of fabric construction, inspection standards, and color evaluation. Proficiency with PLM or digital supply chain tools, with Codetex experience being advantageous. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support decisions. Willingness to travel for inspections and vendor visits when needed.

Experience

Experience in fabric quality, raw materials, or textile sourcing within the fashion industry is required.
