Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing, customer-facing department with focus on delivering exceptional Burberry Experience and brand service standards
- Coach and provide developmental feedback to team members to ensure consistent brand service delivery and customer excellence
- Set and drive performance targets including conversion rates, sales, UPT, AUR, and customer data capture to maximize department productivity and profitability
- Plan department schedules strategically to align staffing with peak business hours and customer demand patterns
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with merchandising teams and communicate product strategies to staff
- Demonstrate comprehensive market knowledge of luxury retail and current fashion trends; actively study competitive offerings and collections
- Communicate advertising campaigns, new product launches, and promotional activities to the department team
- Embody and communicate Burberry's core values and company culture—Protect, Explore, Inspire—throughout the department
- Ensure all team members are fully trained in the Burberry Experience, possess sound product knowledge, and understand company policies and procedures
- Recruit, onboard, and develop departmental talent to build a high-caliber team of specialists capable of passionate and effective customer service
- Cultivate customer relationships to create brand advocates and leverage the team to achieve highest-quality customer profile capture with each transaction
- Drive digital strategy integration, ensuring employees utilize technology to enhance the customer journey and maintain 'never out of stock' mindset
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, rewards, monthly development planning, and annual performance reviews
- Maintain strong sensibility for the Burberry aesthetic by studying Burberry World, key looks, editorial coverage, and brand communications
- Serve as brand ambassador and specialist for the department, demonstrating passionate product knowledge and delivering expert customer guidance
- Maintain adherence to merchandising guidelines and uphold highest standards of housekeeping and retail presentation

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven strong performance in a store or concession management role within a high-volume, high-turnover retail environment
- Demonstrated excellence in leadership and people management, with proven ability to recruit, train, develop, and assess talent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability
- Established ability to drive and maintain exceptional customer service standards
- Sound commercial and brand awareness demonstrated through previous roles
- Flexibility and adaptability to organizational change
- Relevant experience in product categories aligned with assigned department
- Technical proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications
