Role & Responsibilities
- Lead sales associates to improve selling skills and close sales in order to achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Drive sales for an assigned category by partnering with the Store Manager on sell-through and team training
- Lead a high-performing, customer-facing and service-oriented team while coaching and providing feedback to ensure all customers receive the full Burberry Experience in line with brand strategies
- Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service delivery and that no client is left unattended; set the pace and standard for excellent service
- Drive partnership on the selling floor between sales associates, specialists, stock, and operations teams
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and post-transaction feedback to associates, discussing successes and opportunities while ensuring proper follow-through
- Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and retain talented employees through monthly development plans, performance reviews, and recognition of achievements
- Lead the integration of new joiners to the business
- Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary
- Partner with Store Manager and Training to take ownership of Burberry Experience training; use morning and weekly meetings to reinforce key elements through role-play and peer discussion
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
- In the absence of store management, process post-void transactions, authorize promotional discounts, and oversee employee sales
- Drive the digital experience in-store and use digital resources to communicate when face-to-face interaction is not possible
- Maintain thorough understanding of the business and communicate needs and ideas to drive business growth
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures; consistently follow and enforce company guidelines on operations
- Create and maintain an open, positive, and harmonious work environment
- Assist with opening and closing of store, including securing doors, windows, and merchandise; ensure proper alarming and POS procedures
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to handle complex customer service issues including dissatisfied customers, complaints, returns, repairs, and after-sales scenarios
- Fluent and professional communication skills with clients and staff
- Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and comfort with digital tools
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and achieve KPIs

1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales, with demonstrated success in leading teams, driving sales performance, and delivering exceptional customer service in a luxury retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
