Burberry seeks a Department Manager in Las Vegas, NV to lead sales, coach teams and deliver the Burberry Experience at The Forum Shops.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach sales associates to improve selling skills, close sales and achieve category sales targets and KPIs.
- Drive sales performance for an assigned category in partnership with the Store Manager, including sell-through strategies and team training.
- Supervise daily customer flow and ensure every client receives the full Burberry Experience in line with brand standards.
- Provide in-the-moment and post-transaction coaching, deliver feedback and ensure follow-through on development actions.
- Recruit, onboard and integrate new joiners; support talent development through monthly plans and performance reviews.
- Partner with Store Manager and Training to deliver Burberry Experience training using meetings, role-play and coaching.
- Resolve complex customer issues and escalate to senior management when necessary.
- Authorize post-void transactions, promotional discounts and employee sales in the absence of senior store management.
- Drive the in-store digital experience and use digital resources to engage clients when face-to-face interaction is not possible.
- Maintain adherence to company policies and store operational procedures, assist with store opening and closing duties.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
- Advanced knowledge of POS system operations and store transactional procedures.
- Proven ability to handle complex customer-service situations including complaints, returns, repairs and after-sales.
- Confident, professional communicator able to engage clients and colleagues with fluent, polished dialogue.
- Comfortable using Apple mobile devices and other digital tools in a retail environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience within retail sales, with demonstrable results in coaching teams, achieving KPIs and handling escalated customer situations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary study in retail, business or a related discipline is advantageous.
