Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high‑touch sales service to build long‑term relationships and achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Execute proactive clienteling: maintain and develop client lists, coordinate follow‑up communications and curate product recommendations.
- Present merchandise with impeccable visual standards and ensure floor sets and displays reflect brand directives.
- Process transactions accurately using the store POS, manage exchanges and returns, and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Support inventory control, including receiving, replenishment, stock counts and loss‑prevention measures.
- Collaborate with store management and cross‑functional teams (e‑commerce, CRM, visual merchandising) to deliver omnichannel customer journeys.
- Stay current on product knowledge, seasonal collections and brand campaigns to inform client conversations and upsell opportunities.
- Contribute to store KPIs (conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction) and participate in sales meetings and training.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service in a retail or luxury environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong consultative sales approach.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends, late evenings and public holidays as required.
- Comfortable working to measurable sales targets and KPIs.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of retail sales experience, preferably within luxury fashion or premium lifestyle brands; demonstrable record of meeting sales targets and building repeat clientele.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in fashion, retail or business is advantageous.
