Selfridges Trafford (Manchester) is hiring a Part-Time Client Advisor: deliver luxury client service, drive sales and support merchandising at Selfridges Trafford Centre.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to high-value and walk-in clients, representing luxury brands with professionalism and discretion.
- Drive sales performance through proactive clienteling, upselling and follow-up, consistently working to meet individual and store targets.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge across assigned brands and categories to advise clients on fit, fabric, provenance and styling.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process transactions, manage payments and perform cash handling in line with store procedures.
- Support visual merchandising standards on the floor, ensuring product presentation, replenishment and store signage meet brand guidelines.
- Use CRM tools to capture client data, schedule appointments and send tailored communications while complying with data protection requirements.
- Assist with stock management tasks including receiving, tagging, inventory counts and loss-prevention procedures.
- Represent the store at events, private shopping appointments and promotional activities as required by the trading calendar.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service in a retail or hospitality environment; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with polished grooming and presentation appropriate to a luxury environment.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods; reliable and punctual.
- Numerate with accurate cash-handling skills and basic transaction reconciliation experience.
- Right to work in the UK.

Entry-level to junior retail experience; ideally 1+ year working in luxury retail, department store or premium boutique with a demonstrable track record of sales or client development.
Education
No formal degree required; secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent) preferred. Retail, hospitality or sales qualifications are advantageous.
