Burberry is hiring a Client Advisor in London to deliver luxury retail service, build client relationships, and drive sales through expert styling and brand passion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators (appointments, units per transaction, average transaction value, and average unit retail)
- Inspire clients through compelling storytelling and authentic passion for the Burberry brand, fostering desire and emotional connection with the collection
- Deliver luxury-calibre service by demonstrating expert knowledge of products, fashion trends, and personalized styling advice
- Execute the Client journey framework: create exceptional first impressions, discover client needs, provide styling expertise, and successfully close sales while maintaining lasting relationships
- Manage efficient follow-up protocols and after-sales services to ensure continued client satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain visual merchandising and operational standards across front and back-of-house areas, including product presentation, inventory management, stockroom maintenance, and markdown processing
- Build and cultivate a meaningful client book by working by appointment, capturing new luxury clients, and driving retention through regular contact and proactive service
- Foster teamwork and contribute to a positive work environment aligned with Burberry values and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering sales results and exceeding commercial targets
- Previous experience in clientelling or luxury retail client relationship management
- Strong product knowledge with a demonstrated understanding of retail store operations
- Awareness of competitor offerings and competitive positioning
- Fluency in the local language; English proficiency is essential
- Demonstrated confidence, curiosity, conviction, and care in client interactions
