Burberry seeks a Client Advisor in Charlotte, NC to deliver personalised luxury client experiences, grow client relationships and exceed sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, elevated client experiences through appointment-based and walk-in service to meet and exceed individual and store sales KPIs.
- Build and nurture a proprietary client book: acquire new luxury clients, drive retention through regular contact and follow-up, and convert appointments into sales.
- Use storytelling and product knowledge to inspire purchases, provide styling advice, and demonstrate expertise across Burberry collections.
- Manage after-sales service and client follow-up to maximise lifetime value and client satisfaction.
- Maintain luxury store standards in front and back of house: merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory support and adherence to visual guidelines.
- Collaborate with store management and colleagues to support daily operations, meet service targets and foster a positive team environment.
- Adhere to company policies, CRM practices and brand-specific clienteling procedures to protect client data and ensure service consistency.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a luxury or premium retail environment.
- Prior clientelling or appointment-driven sales experience within fashion or luxury brands.
- Strong product knowledge with a keen interest in fashion, art and culture.
- Impeccable presentation, persuasive communication skills and a service-first attitude.
- Energetic, proactive and detail-oriented with a demonstrable commercial mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing operational needs.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury or premium retail with demonstrable success in client acquisition, retention and sales performance. Experience working to appointment-based KPIs and using clienteling techniques is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational retail, fashion or luxury-related training preferred.
