Selfridges is hiring a Client Advisor in Birmingham to deliver luxury retail service and drive sales at the Birmingham Selfridges store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver polished, personalised customer service to a discerning luxury clientele and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, product expertise and appropriate upselling.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of brand assortments, current trends and product provenance to advise clients accurately and authoritatively.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions, returns and exchanges with accuracy and in accordance with store policies.
- Support visual merchandising and stockroom processes, ensuring floor replenishment, presentation standards and inventory accuracy.
- Contribute to team performance by sharing market intelligence, client feedback and participating in training and store initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-service or retail sales experience, preferably within a premium or luxury environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to engage high-net-worth and style-conscious clients.
- Numerical literacy and accuracy for transaction handling and daily till reconciliation.
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings to meet boutique trading hours.
- Right to work in the UK.

Experience
Typically 1+ year of retail or customer-facing experience; prior exposure to luxury or premium brands is strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; formal qualifications are not required though retail or sales training is advantageous.
