Burberry Client Advisor position in Amsterdam. Luxury retail sales role combining client relationship building with styling expertise and commercial targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales and other commercial KPIs
- Inspire clients through storytelling and passion for the brand, creating desire and affinity for Burberry with every interaction
- Provide luxury service and demonstrate extensive knowledge and expertise in product, fashion, and styling
- Follow the client journey to elevate the in-store experience: deliver a strong initial impression, discover client needs, demonstrate product and styling expertise, and close sales to establish enduring relationships
- Execute efficient follow-up and after-sales services to maintain client satisfaction
- Contribute to daily store operations by maintaining luxury standards in both front and back of house, including inventory management, markdowns, and stockroom maintenance as required
- Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and procedures while using visual merchandising techniques to maintain Burberry's visual standards
- Foster teamwork and cultivate a positive work environment
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with clients
- Work by appointment to provide personalised service and build client loyalty while driving incremental purchases
- Capture new luxury clients to expand the individual and store client book with a commercial mindset
- Drive client retention by maintaining volume and spend through regular outreach and appropriate follow-up on sales and client requests
Qualifications
- Proven track record in delivering sales and exceeding targets
- Previous experience in clientelling or luxury retail
- Strong interest in fashion, art, and culture
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of store retail operations
- Understanding of competitor products and market positioning
- Experience working as part of a collaborative team
- Fluent in Dutch (local language); English proficiency is highly desirable
- Demonstrates confidence, curiosity, conviction, and care
- Possesses impeccable presentation and communication skills at all levels
- Results-driven with a commercial mindset
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in clientelling, luxury retail, or high-end customer service is required. The candidate should demonstrate a proven track record in delivering sales, exceeding targets, and building lasting client relationships within a luxury retail environment.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent is required. Formal qualifications in fashion, retail management, or luxury goods are desirable but not essential if substantial relevant experience is demonstrated.
