Burberry seeks a Central Visual Merchandising Manager in London to lead global VM strategy and regional guidance. Fixed-term contract.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver visual merchandising guidance and strategic direction to regional VM managers and global retail teams
  • Collaborate with Central Merchandising to align VM guidance with business strategic objectives while creating visually inspiring displays
  • Partner with Design to ensure displays reflect creative vision and global styling direction while maintaining commercial awareness
  • Work collaboratively with Architecture and Activations teams to support fixture, prop, and activation development initiatives
  • Provide regional VM teams with regular feedback, training, and in-store visits to share knowledge and foster collaborative working culture
  • Drive compliance with global visual merchandising standards and elevate product knowledge across all regions
  • Coordinate with fellow Central Visual Merchandisers to maintain high and consistent standards of deliverables
  • Demonstrate strategic agility and flexibility in achieving required creative and commercial solutions
  • Support visualization of renders for window displays and pop-up initiatives
  • Oversee Showroom deliverables across London and Paris locations
  • Manage Outlet Visual Merchandising Manager and execution

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Visual Merchandising roles, including experience with guidelines development and implementation
  • Proven expertise working independently, creatively, and innovatively in fast-paced retail environments
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach with clear understanding of both merchandising and business requirements
  • Experience working in a luxury brand with large, complex assortments; knowledge of merchandising principles beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Suite experience beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high organizational ability
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Strong awareness of luxury industry trends and genuine passion for the fashion industry
