Burberry Associate Visual Merchandiser position in Chicago—execute seasonal campaigns and window installations at flagship location. $50–$55K.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute visual merchandising strategy for the Chicago flagship location, translating global and regional direction into compelling, locally relevant customer experiences
  • Deliver windows, mannequin styling, product presentations, feature areas, signage and seasonal launches to the highest brand standards
  • Use sales performance, sell-through, inventory levels, and customer behaviour to optimize space, product placement and visual storytelling
  • Partner with Store Management, Retail, Merchandising, Marketing and regional Visual Merchandising teams to align commercial priorities and execution plans
  • Maintain exceptional daily presentation standards through regular floor walks, timely refreshes and rapid response to changing trading priorities
  • Coach and provide in-the-moment guidance to store colleagues on brand standards, styling, product placement and maintenance
  • Coordinate props, materials, fixtures and suppliers, and deliver installations safely and on time
  • Document completed installations and provide feedback on product performance, customer trends, execution challenges and local opportunities
  • Travel occasionally to support store openings, seasonal installations, events, training and other business needs as required

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of visual merchandising experience in fashion, luxury, premium or high-volume retail
  • Portfolio demonstrating windows, mannequin styling, product presentation, space planning and commercial visual execution preferred
  • Strong fashion awareness, creative judgement and understanding of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
  • Commercial mindset with ability to interpret sales and inventory information and translate insight into visual actions
  • Comfort with hands-on installation work and safe use of ladders, basic tools and visual merchandising equipment
  • Degree or formal study in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, interior or spatial design, visual communications, or related discipline is a plus; relevant hands-on experience equally valued
