Burberry is hiring an Assistant Video Editor in London to support post-production across campaign, social and internal video content.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ingest, label and catalogue camera and audio media; maintain coherent project folder structures and metadata for all shoots.
- Support editors by preparing timelines, creating rough assemblies and string-outs, and preparing selects for editorial revisions.
- Prepare and organise assets for VFX and colour grading workflows; apply colour transforms to selected sequences under direction of colourists.
- Conform final edits following completion of VFX and grading, ensuring editorial integrity across versions.
- Perform rigorous quality control of deliverables for multiple platforms and manage final asset delivery and archival.
- Maintain and manage project archives and media asset libraries to ensure efficient retrieval and long-term preservation.
Qualifications
- Proven proficiency with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Suite.
- Practical understanding of end-to-end post-production workflows, multi-version delivery and quality-control procedures.
- Demonstrable experience organising and managing digital media and project archives.
- High degree of organisation, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with editors, colourists and VFX artists.
Skills
Experience
Experience working within a post-production environment, supporting editorial and grading teams on campaign, runway, social and internal communication projects. Practical familiarity with multi-format footage, versioning for different platforms and delivering broadcast- or web-ready assets is required.
Education
Degree, diploma or vocational qualification in Film, Media, Digital Production or a related discipline; equivalent hands-on experience in a professional post-production environment will also be considered.
