Burberry seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead operations at its Rome Castel Romano Outlet store, overseeing a team of 19 colleagues including store management, department managers, sales associates and operations staff. In partnership with the Store Manager, the successful candidate will drive exceptional client experiences, cultivate team performance and advance commercial objectives whilst championing operational excellence and inclusive leadership across all business functions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in driving store performance, achieving commercial targets and upholding exceptional standards across all operational areas
- Inspire, coach and develop a diverse leadership team including department managers and operational colleagues to realize their full potential
- Establish and maintain a client-centric culture that consistently delivers elevated, personalised luxury experiences aligned with Burberry brand standards
- Drive strategic talent planning, employee engagement and succession initiatives to build high-performing, inclusive teams
- Ensure operational excellence through disciplined planning, regulatory compliance, inventory management and efficient resource allocation
- Partner with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and execute opportunities that enhance performance, productivity and client satisfaction

- Proven leadership experience in luxury retail, premium retail or a customer-centric environment
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing leaders within a multi-layered retail structure
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret business metrics and drive measurable results
