Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire sales associates to enhance selling skills and consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs
- Collaborate with Store Manager to drive category sales and implement targeted team training strategies
- Foster a customer-centric team culture embodying the Burberry Experience across all customer touchpoints
- Manage customer flow efficiently to ensure seamless service and maintain service-oriented standards on the sales floor
- Coach teams in real-time and post-transaction to reinforce successes and address development opportunities
- Support talent development and retention through performance reviews and personalized development plans
- Lead onboarding and integration processes for new team members
- Model the Burberry Experience through active customer engagement and hands-on leadership
- Partner with Store Manager and Training departments to champion Burberry Experience training programmes
- Resolve complex customer concerns and escalate issues to management as required
- Authorize transactions and promotional discounts in the absence of store management
- Promote digital customer experience using Apple mobile devices and other digital tools
- Maintain strong business acumen and communicate company policies and operational best practices
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including security and point-of-sale management
- Execute additional duties as required to support store success and uphold Burberry standards
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with retail POS systems
- Strong conflict resolution and complex problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Apple mobile devices and digital tools
- Proven retail management experience of 1–2 years
- Demonstrated leadership qualities including coaching and mentoring
