Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead sales associates to improve selling skills and drive sales goal and KPI attainment
  • Drive sales performance for assigned product categories in partnership with Store Manager on sell-through and team training
  • Lead and supervise a high-performing, customer-focused sales team, providing real-time coaching and feedback to ensure delivery of the Burberry Experience in line with brand strategies
  • Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service standards and that no client is left unattended, setting the pace for excellent service delivery
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships between sales associates, specialists, stock, and operations teams on the selling floor
  • Provide in-the-moment and post-transaction coaching to associates, discussing successes and opportunities for improvement with proper follow-through
  • Collaborate with Store Manager on employee development and retention through recognition, monthly development plans, and annual performance reviews
  • Lead onboarding and integration of new team members to the business
  • Deliver the Burberry Experience to customers through exemplary personal service and brand representation
  • Partner with Store Manager and Training to oversee Burberry Experience training; lead morning and weekly meetings to reinforce key brand elements through role-play and individual coaching
  • Resolve complex customer issues independently and escalate to management when necessary
  • Authorize post-void transactions, promotional discounts, and employee sales in the absence of store management
  • Drive digital in-store experiences and leverage digital communication tools when face-to-face interaction is not possible
  • Maintain strong understanding of business operations and effectively communicate needs and improvement ideas to leadership
  • Ensure thorough understanding and consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures
  • Foster an open, positive, and harmonious work environment
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures including securing merchandise, arming security systems, and completing POS reconciliation
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support store operations

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales
  • Advanced proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex customer service issues including dissatisfied customers, complaints, returns, repairs, and after-sales support
  • Fluent and professional communication skills with clients and staff
  • Proficiency with Apple mobile devices and digital retail tools
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail brand standards and customer service excellence

Experience
