Burberry seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Las Vegas to support sales leadership, team development, and the Burberry Experience delivery in retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead sales associates to enhance selling skills and close sales to achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Drive sales performance for assigned product categories, partnering with Store Manager on sell-through strategy and team training
- Lead a customer-facing, service-oriented team while coaching and providing feedback to maintain the Burberry Experience
- Manage customer flow and set service standards to ensure no client is left unattended
- Foster partnership and collaboration between sales associates, specialists, stock, and operations teams
- Provide in-the-moment and post-transaction coaching to associates on successes and improvement opportunities
- Partner with Store Manager to develop and retain talent through recognition, performance feedback, and development planning
- Lead integration of new team members into the business
- Deliver the Burberry Experience personally to customers when necessary
- Own Burberry Experience training delivery through morning and weekly meetings, role-play, and peer guidance
- Resolve complex customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
- Process post-void transactions, authorize promotional discounts, and manage employee sales in the absence of store management
- Drive digital retail experience and communications both in-store and remotely
- Communicate business insights and improvement ideas to support business growth
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines consistently
- Maintain a positive, open, and harmonious work environment
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures including security and POS operations
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex customer service issues, including complaints, returns, and repairs
- Fluent and professional communication with clients and staff
- Experience with Apple mobile devices and digital retail tools
- 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales
