Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager to drive category performance, sell-through and attainment of store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Lead, coach and mentor sales associates to improve selling skills and deliver the full Burberry Experience through in-the-moment and post-transaction coaching.
  • Manage customer flow and ensure every client receives attentive, service-led engagement aligned with brand standards.
  • Own integration and onboarding of new joiners, create monthly development plans and participate in annual performance reviews to develop and retain talent.
  • Partner with Store Manager, specialists and operations to ensure seamless collaboration between sales floor, stock and back-of-house teams.
  • Resolve complex customer service issues, authorize transactions (post-voids, promotional discounts, employee sales) in the absence of store management and escalate when necessary.
  • Drive the in-store digital experience by leveraging Apple mobile devices and digital resources to maintain client communication and support omnichannel initiatives.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policies and procedures, assist with store opening/closing responsibilities and contribute to a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of prior retail management or assistant management experience with demonstrable results in sales and team development.
  • Advanced knowledge of POS systems and proven ability to manage transactional exceptions (returns, post-voids, discounts).
  • Proven capability to handle complex customer service situations, including complaints, repairs and after-sales follow-up.
  • Professional verbal communication skills and the ability to coach and motivate a customer-facing team.
  • Proficiency with Apple mobile devices and comfortable using digital tools to support sales and client engagement.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of management experience in a retail sales environment, with track record of coaching sales teams, improving KPIs and driving category performance.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or coursework in retail management, business or related fields preferred.
