Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in driving category performance and achieving sales goals and KPIs through active floor leadership.
- Supervise, coach and develop sales associates to elevate selling skills, close sales and deliver the Burberry Experience.
- Lead daily in‑the‑moment and post‑transaction coaching; use role‑play and team meetings to reinforce product knowledge and service standards.
- Manage customer flow and service levels on the selling floor to ensure no client is left unattended and the highest standards of hospitality are met.
- Partner with store operations, stock and specialist teams to optimise sell‑through and the omnichannel customer journey.
- Drive digital engagement in‑store, utilising Apple mobile devices and digital resources when face‑to‑face contact is not possible.
- Take responsibility for store opening and closing procedures, POS operations, post‑void processing, and authorisation of promotional and employee discounts in the absence of store management.
- Resolve complex customer issues and escalate to senior management when required; ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Onboard and integrate new joiners; work with the Store Manager and Training to retain talent through development plans and performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years' supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
- Advanced knowledge of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and transactional procedures, including post‑void handling.
- Proven ability to manage complex customer service situations (returns, repairs, complaints, after‑sales).
- Professional verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues; capable of delivering high‑calibre client interactions.
- Familiarity with Apple mobile devices and comfortable using digital sales and communication tools.
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales, with demonstrable experience coaching sales teams, handling complex customer service issues, and using digital tools to support selling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline preferred.
