Art Director role at a leading luxury fashion house in Paris — lead visual campaigns, photography and brand art direction.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and steward the visual language across seasonal campaigns, lookbooks, digital content and in-store imagery to ensure cohesive brand expression.
- Lead conception and execution of creative briefs, translating strategic objectives into striking art direction and photographic treatments.
- Direct and manage photo and video productions, including casting, set design, styling, lighting and post-production oversight.
- Supervise an internal creative team and external partners (photographers, stylists, retouchers, production houses, agencies), ensuring delivery to brief, budget and schedule.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, e-commerce, merchandising and product teams to align creative output with commercial and brand goals.
- Develop moodboards, storyboards and creative presentations for senior stakeholders and sign-off procedures.
- Ensure all assets meet technical specifications for print, digital and social channels and maintain archival integrity of creative files.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable portfolio of high-end fashion or luxury brand campaigns with strong visual authorship.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary creative teams and external collaborators.
- Deep understanding of photography direction, image retouching workflows and production processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Track record of delivering creative work on schedule and within production budgets.
Skills
Experience
Minimum seven years of professional experience in visual design or creative roles, preferably within luxury fashion houses, premium lifestyle brands or high-end creative agencies, including several years leading creative teams and managing production at scale.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Fashion or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
