Role & Responsibilities

  • Validate supplier invoices and ensure accurate revenue/cost recognition prior to processing.
  • Manage invoice exceptions and drive timely resolution through internal workflow tools.
  • Match and process invoices against 2‑ and 3‑way purchase orders with precision.
  • Process non‑PO supplier invoices in accordance with agreed timelines and controls.
  • Verify payment status and provide clear, timely updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to resolve queries and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and controls to support reliable business operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working within accounts payable or finance operations.
  • Strong numeric accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build collaborative internal and external relationships.
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; confident with Outlook and Word.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

A‑level(s) or equivalent; a bookkeeping or part‑qualified accounting credential (e.g., AAT, ACCA/CIMA studies) is desirable but not essential.
