A freelance on-call beauty advisor for Estée Lauder Companies' prestige brands (The Ordinary, NIOD, Dr. Jart+, Bumble and bumble, Origins) at Ulta Beauty and Sephora locations in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. The role combines personalized customer consultation, visual merchandising execution, and in-store event management to drive brand engagement and sales across multiple banners. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional customer service expertise, product knowledge, and flexibility to work variable retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special promotional events.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, consultative beauty services and product recommendations to retail customers in-store
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across assigned retail floor sections
• Support execution of in-store promotional events, product demonstrations, and brand education sessions to drive customer engagement
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of multi-brand product offerings, formulations, benefits, and application techniques
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure seamless floor operations and optimal customer experience during assigned shifts
• Drive sales through impactful brand visits, key focus days, and event participation while achieving daily and event sales targets

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver authentic, personalized customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
• Proven experience in retail or beauty industry preferred
• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, and handle merchandise up to 25 lbs

Skills

Experience

Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of delivering inspirational, authentic customer service and comfort with the demands of prestige beauty retail environments.

Education

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
