A freelance beauty advisor for luxury prestige brands including Bumble and bumble, Origins, Dr.Jart+, The Ordinary, and NIOD at Ulta Beauty and Sephora locations. The role combines creative expertise and technical knowledge to deliver personalized in-store consultations, execute visual merchandising displays, support promotional events, and drive sales while maintaining elevated brand standards and customer engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
• Drive sales through impactful in-store visits and key focus days while achieving daily and event sales goals
• Create engaging consumer experiences and partner with store teams on brand education

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States upon hire
• Preferred: Previous retail or beauty industry experience
• Preferred: Familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Workplace

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
