A freelance beauty advisor role for Bumble and bumble and complementary prestige brands at Ulta Beauty and Sephora locations across Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and South Jersey. The position combines personalized customer consultations with visual merchandising execution and event support, requiring flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special promotional events in a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality beauty consultations and customer service to in-store patrons, educating them on product features, application techniques, and brand offerings
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across assigned retail floor sections
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement and brand visibility
- Maintain current knowledge of product portfolios across The Ordinary, NIOD, Dr.Jart+, Bumble and bumble, and Origins
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure seamless floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a retail setting
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and handle product packaging and display materials weighing up to 25 pounds
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred; however, demonstrated customer-facing service execution and familiarity with retail sales environments will be valued.
